Delphia Gertrude Beckowitz, age 88, passed away on April 20 surrounded by her family. Delphia enjoyed playing with her 6 children and 8 Great-Grandchildren 'the more, the merrier' was her philosophy. Being a southern woman at heart she loved her country music, and she also loved showing off her beautiful jewelry. Delphia is survived by her children Carol (Lou) Hessell and Spike Beckowitz; grandchildren Jennifer, Eric, Denise, John, Michael, Shawn; and her great-grandchildren Devynn, Ashley, Jacob, Donovan, Manix, Abbey, Evan, and Ava. Delphia was preceded in death by her husband Tony Beckowitz, daughter Brenda Mohan, and sister Ann Keeton.

Visitation for Delphia is Sunday, April 22 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service starting at 6:00 p.m.. Arrangements will be held at the Lee-Ellena Funeral Home 46530 Romeo Plank Rd in Macomb Township. Donations in memory of Delphia can be made out to Henry Ford Hospice.
