Allan Wadecki

Allan is not forgettable. Excitable and highly animated when speaking, dining with him was always an experience (nearby tall glassware was not safe when he was making a point). Trips to the gun club, the motorcycle shops, and the Barret - Jackson Auction, will no longer be the same. We feel very lucky to have known Allan. He truly enriched our lives. Marie and Adam will greatly miss him, as will all who considered him a friend. John and Kathleen Griffith, Scottsdale AZ

Allan was truly a unique person and we will miss him very much. Allan was so interesting to talk to and we loved all of his stories!! We learned alot from Allan and we really appreciate all the good advice he gave us. We are so sad that he is gone...but every memory we have of Allan makes us smile. We feel lucky to have known such a great guy and we will never forget him.

We remember Al as kind, generous and gregarious, and we will miss his energy and as a good neighbor.

enterprising young man who always got the job done to everyone's satisfaction.
His bubbly personality along with his intelligence, quick wit , sense of humor, kindness, and willingness to help out with any problem were just a few of his positive attributes. He is gone too soon, never to be forgotten. We will all miss him and look forward to reuniting with him once we too

Every now and then you meet a person who touches your heart in only a way he or she can do and you feel blessed. Allan is that person to me and my family. Allan was not only our neighbor for 22 years but a dear friend. As a neighbor, we looked out for each other and he would always bring a smile to my face when he said, "Would you do me a flavor?" always followed by a "short"

Allan loved a good conversation and he had a vast knowledge of just about everything so their was never a lull :) As a friend, he was kindhearted and truly cared about everyone's well being. When Allan and Marie were in Scottsdale, I always felt better in knowing my daughter, Emily, attending Arizona State University so far away from home in Michigan, had another loving dad and mom in Allan and Marie close by. Thank you, Allan, for being you. We will miss you.

As a fellow engineer, I aways marved at Allan's encyclopedic knowledge of automotive specifications. And here I thought I was the only one that knew such trivia as the bore and stroke of a cylinder in a 327 Chevy. Having worked at Lionel, I was surprised to learn of his love for Lionel trains as well and was shocked to see the size of his extensive collection. We also appreciated his enthusiastic tours of the greater Phoenix area when our daughter Emily first started at Arizona State. We will surely miss his company.

My husband and I still can't comprehend this sudden loss of a friend and "family" member. Allan was one of those rare souls who could talk to anyone about anything. He would keep us entertained for hours on our road trips with what he called " his useless information". There are no words to express how much we will miss Allan in our lives.
