Richard is survived by his loving wife, Angeline (nee Scalici); children, Cheryl (Jim) Kouri, Edward (Lori), Jean (Michael) Wilson, (Thomas Neumann), Kenneth (Veronica), David (Brenda), Corinne (Ron) Rhoades, and Michael; 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many extended loved ones and friends. Richard is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Florence (nee Fitzgerald); daughter Kathleen Neumann and son-in-law Clark Odzark.

Richard, (or Dick as he preferred), was a very proud man. Some of his greatest accomplishments were to marry his "bride" Angeline, and produce 8 children, 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren as of yet. Dick loved having his family around and the grandchildren were his pride and joy! Dick was also very proud of his time in the service and the many stories he had of his time in the Airborne.

He devoted his time to the church, was an usher, involved in the mens club and K of C. He was a very giving man and loved helping people in need. If someone was down and out, and he knew about it, he would go out of his way to help them. Dick taught his children the importance and value in giving. He was not only an inspiration to his wife, kids and grandkids, but also a role model to the neighborhood kids. Everyone that came in contact with him had a story to tell. I invite anyone that has a special story to share it on here where we all can remember Dick as the special man that he was.
