Mary Ruth Watson (née Mudd), age 79 of Lenox Township and formerly of St. Clair Shores and Roscommon, Michigan; passed away September 19, 2014, surrounded by her children.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Watson; her parents, Bernard and Alma Mudd (née Gootee), her dear sister and brother, Patricia Edgeworth and Donald Mudd.

She is survived by her children, John (Kim), James, Robert (Patti), Ronald, Mark (Kris) and Michelle; grandchildren, Lyndsay (Brandon), Justin (Melissa), Nicholas, Courtney, Jacob, Shelby, Nicole, Ashley, Elena and Brendan, and great-granddaughter Harper. As well as many extended loved ones and friends.
Mary will be remembered as a loving lady and a dear friend to many people. She was the original "hockey mom" and the first female president of the St. Clair Shores youth hockey league. She was an avid card player and very competitive at shuffle board. Mary also belonged to the Roscommon Red Hat Society as well as the local ladies auxiliary and many card clubs, and she loved to travel.

She will be dearly missed by her loving family, but knowing that she is resting peacefully with her dear husband Jack, brings comfort.
