Giuseppe "Joe" Guglielmetti, passed away after a short illness on December 15, 2014. Joe was born in Guardia Piemontese, Italy to the late Francesco and Congetta Romano (Grossi). Joe immigrated to the United States when he was a young man.
The love of his life for over forty-eight was the former Giovanna Distefano. Together, they raised their children to love the Lord and Joe taught everyone to care for family first and to always have a strong work ethic. Joe would retire from Ford Motor Company after thirty-five years of very dedicated service as a machinist.
Joe will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Giovanna Guglielmetti; children, Tina (Daryl Gapshes) Vaglica, Roberto Guglielmetti, Giuseppe (Sarah) Guglielmetti and John Franco (Diana) Guglielmetti; nine grandchildren who affectionately referred to Joe as their "Nonno," and his brother, Vincenzo (Rosa) Guglielmetti.
